As we've learned in this week's lectures, one of the main reasons our climate is changing and the earth is getting warmer is due to the amount of carbon that is released into the atmosphere. In order to combat this, I've recently taken to walking more. According to Google, a typical vehicle emits 4.6 metric tons of CO2 annually. I live right by a grocery store, and I've always found myself driving because it was five minutes away by car. By walking rather than driving, I'm able to both reduce my carbon footprint and appreciate nature even more!

This is very smart, I am going to start thinking of ways I can just get to a store without a car.
