I know water bottles come and go as trends, with people going from buying Hydroflasks to Stanleys, but they are genuienly a great way in reducing your plastic consumption. I used to drink out of plastic water bottles all the time, and I never truly realized how much plastic I was using PER DAY until I got a Hydroflask for my birthday. I fill my water bottle up approximately 3 times a day, so that's equivalent to about 3-4 plastic water bottles used DAILY! That over one thousands water bottles thrown away annually from just one person, and the difference it creates is unbelievable. I noticed that every week when I take out the trash, the bag is much lighter and less filled because plastic water bottles aren't contributing any more. I can't even imagine how much plastic water bottles are picked up from my household every year.
I highly recommend buying a water bottle, whether it be a Hydroflask or a random one from TJ Maxx, it doesn't matter. The reduction of plastic consumption is quickly noticeable as you take out the trash and fill up your waterbottle every few hours.
