This summer San Diego started up a composting program. I'm so thrilled it's finally here! Since we started using our new bin I've noticed a huge reduction in what goes into the trash. It's at least half as much as it used to be! Since I take a couple of trips to the landfill each year, I'm painfully aware of everything I throw out so it feels good to be more a part of the solution than the problem.
We got ours in Oceanside this week!! YAY!!
