I think something that I try my hardest to eliminate as much waste as I can, being so into fashion, is thrifting over 90% of my closet. Over the past few years, I have noticed how much I will go through clothes by changing style every season but recently I have made a big change to only going to fast fashion places if I absolutely need to. I have also been discovering a lot of sustainable brands that use recycled material for their products, I don't fall too much for these other than some basic needs but I love how many brands are starting to move in that direction. But I have been so proud of myself for being able to reuse all the clothes I have and once I am done with them I give them right back to the thrift stores to go back in the cycle for someone else. I have a lot of clothes but knowing that I am not contributing to adding more plastics and materials by thrifting makes me feel so much better about it.
