Plastic pollution can modify habitats and natural processes, limiting ecosystems' capacity to adapt to climate change and adversely affecting millions of people's social and economic well-being and livelihoods. Therefore, to reduce plastic use, invest in a zipped fabric bag, and ask to return your cleaned goods in the bag they came in rather than wrapped in plastic. (While at it, make sure you regularly use a dry cleaner that forgoes the perc, a hazardous substance in some cleaning solvents.)
