Reusable bags help minimize the amount of single-use plastic bags that end up in landfills or as litter in the environment. Plastic bags can take hundreds of years to decompose, and they pose serious risks to wildlife and ecosystems. I have been using reusable bags to go grocery shopping for a couple years now. I see a big decrease in wasted bags.
