A few years ago I took an environmental science class that taught us how much waste we produce in one week with carrying a big trash bag all around everywhere we went to keep track of every piece of trash we produce. It made me realize how much waste I used, especially plastic. I had so many water bottles, from playing sports I didn't carry a reusable water bottle at the time so it added up very fast. I also realized how much the people around me would produce during the few weeks after as well with plastic bags, water bottles, lunches, and snacks put in plastic baggies and so much more. I immediately started using reusable water bottles, and reusable bags. Just recently I grew over to reusable snack bags as well and I noticed how many plastic bags I would be using instead of these.
