I am the eldest sister in a family of six. including three young boys. Naturally, we produce a lot of trash consisting of food containers, plastic, diapers, food waste, etc. Because of this, we've found different methods to reduce the amount of plastic. My mom and I noticed how many plastic egg containers we trashed every week, so we decided to reduce the amount by reusing these plastic-free and compostable egg containers. Once a week, we buy eggs from a local neighbor who farms a small egg business with their chickens. This small change has already made a noticeable difference in the amount of trash that our family produces.
