Produce subscription

One way I reduce my environmental impact is through a monthly subscription to a local produce box. Each month, I receive a selection of seasonal fruits and vegetables directly from a nearby farm. This helps support local agriculture and reduces the environmental cost of transporting food long distances. More importantly, it has shifted my diet to focus more heavily on plant-based foods and less on meat. Producing meat, especially beef, requires a significant amount of natural resources (including land, water, and feed grains) and generates a much larger carbon footprint than growing fruits and vegetables. By basing my meals on the produce I receive, I’m able to reduce my dependence on meat and contribute to a more sustainable food system. This change may seem small, but over time, dietary choices have a major impact on both personal health and environmental sustainability. Eating seasonally also aligns my habits with natural growing cycles, which further reduces the energy and resources needed for food production. Overall, my subscription to a produce box is a simple yet effective way to support local farmers, reduce emissions, and make environmentally conscious choices in my everyday life. This also helps me feel more AMAZING throughout my day!
