Reusable Water bottles

As a mom of three, I’m always looking for simple ways to make a positive impact on the planet. A while back, my husband suggested we switch to reusable water bottles, and it’s been a game-changer for our family. Now, instead of using plastic bottles, we all carry our own reusable ones, five of us in total. It’s amazing how such a small change can make a big difference, not just for us, but for the environment too. What’s even cooler is that now my sibling and their kids have jumped on board as well! It feels good knowing that we're all doing our part, and it’s a habit that’s easy to stick with. We still have work to do, but I am glad my girls care and will call us out on ways we can keep improving our daily habits.

Plastic bags as trash bags

As simple as it is a way I've found to make use of plastic bags is as trash bags for my trash can in my room. Because I can't actually find the right size for it at the store it works out since we end up collecting plenty of plastic bags over the course of time.

Hi Marcus, I’ll be honest, I’m not the most eco-conscious person, yet, but I’m trying to take small steps. Lately, I’ve been paying more attention to food waste and using reusable containers instead of plastic bags when I can. I’ve also thought about skipping trash bags in the bathroom bins since they don’t fill up quickly, and just rinsing the bins out as needed. It’s a work in progress, but I figure every little bit helps. Thanks for sharing!
