I am an Artist and Graphic Designer that takes my inspiration from the ocean. Sadly, much of my surroundings at the beach are now full of plastic shards blended into the sand. Despite how devastating it can be, I use each piece from clean-ups to make murals such as this one, to demonstrate the importance of protecting sea life. I believe in repurposing plastic and keeping it out of the ocean, which is why I try to make art out of what I find.
The other day I went diving and found so much trash. It was so sad to see the number of things that ended up in the ocean. Wrappers, receipts, and even hair ties. I picked up everything I could find and threw it away. I feel as if the ocean is grateful when you take care of it. The ocean blessed me the rest of my dive by allowing me to see such beautiful creatures that I've never gotten to see before. Take care of the ocean and it'll take care of you.

I purchased this water dispenser approximately two years ago. I have four five-gallon water jugs that I refill every two weeks. This has prevented approximately 3,120 water bottles from ending up in the ocean.
